なぜPath of Exileのコミュニティがとても動揺しているのか？
GGGも彼らの不満に反応しています。
今回の動画は収益化をオフにしており、何が起こっているのか、人々が何に動揺しているのかを皆さんに伝えるのが目的です。
Lake of Kalandraの報酬
新拡張のLake of Kalandraが公開され、新たなシステムで自分のタブレットを構築するのは中々良いメカニクスだと思われました。
KalandraはPath of Exileで最もレアなアイテムに関係し、ストーリーでも謎に包まれた存在です。
しかし、プレーヤーはすぐにこの新メカニクスの報酬が少ないことに気が付きました。
最新のコンテンツとは思えない報酬の少なさだったのです。
私のHCキャラは昨日湖で死にましたが、ほんの少しの報酬のために大きなリスクを背負ったので、非常にマヌケな行為だったと思います。
Lake of Kalandraのデザインは好きです。
最新コンテンツにしては報酬は少ないですが、過去にも起こった事ですし、パッチで修正されると思います。
しかし、現状としてはプレーヤーは最新コンテンツに集中できません。
アーチネメシス
次の問題はアーチネメシスです。
一つ前のシーズンで刷新されたレアモンスターで、アーチネメシスリーグでは様々なモッドを組み合わせて自分のモンスターを作成する事が出来ました。
たくさんのモッドがスタックしていて、より強く、よりメカニクスが必要で、プレーヤーを倒すためにデザインされたモブです。
アーチネメシスは拡張としては普通の出来で、モブは強力でしたが、同時に報酬は美味しいものでした。
過去のポッドキャストでも話しましたが、このモブがコア入りした事でプレーヤーは大いにストレスを感じています。
アーチネメシスリーグではこのレアに対して戦いを回避する事を選択できましたが、今では全てのレアモンスターにこのモッドがついており、戦いを回避する事は出来ません。
それにも関わらず報酬は削除されているから、ストレスが溜まるのです。
数が少なくなり、いくらか報酬も追加され、今回のパッチではアーチネメシスレアは少し良くなりました。
しかし、多くのプレーヤーはまだこのアーチネメシスによってゲームが歪んてしまったと感じています。
パッチ毎に調整が入り良くなっていってますが、そもそも基本的に楽しくなく、戦いを回避できないのです。
ハーベスト
長らく待ち望んでいたハーベストの調整も来ました。
ハーベストは非常に強力かつ報酬が良いクラフトで、ストレスにも納得感があり、トレードもやり辛いです。
トレードをしようと思ったら、ディスコードを使って危険な取引を行う必要がありました。
今回のリワークでは、このクラフトメカニックをトレード可能にすると約束されていました。
ハーベストクラフトはたくさんのプレーヤーに愛されていましたし、人々はこのアナウンスに興奮しました。
しかし、実装されたそれはプレーヤーの予想を大きく下回るものでした。
以前より数値が大幅に下がり、そもそも強力なクラフトは削除され、プレーヤーに愛されていたハーベストクラフトは確かにトレード可能になりましたが、実際には凄まじいナーフがされていたのです。
報酬のドロップ
悲しい事にこれらよりもっと大きくもっと基礎的な問題があります。
最初にちらほら「これ、いつもよりドロップ少なくない？」という報告が上がってきました。
この手の話はワイプの度にされるのですが、今回は証拠としてカレンシーボックスを開けても何も出なかったり、ファーミングのトッププレイヤーが以前のドロップと比較した動画を上げ始めました。
パッチノートには何も書いてなかったし、多くのプレーヤーはバグを疑い、なぜこのバグが起きたのかGGGに返答を求めました。
GGGの返答
そしてGGGは昨日、「What We’re Working on」というニュースを投稿しました。
内容はアーチネメシスモンスターの改善、ハーベストクラフトのバフ、Lake of Kalandraの報酬のバフなどです。
ほぼ良い事しか書かれていませんでしたが、彼らはプレイヤーの感じているストレスに対して保守的になっていると感じます。
また、問題点も一部しか改善されていません。例えばハーベストクラフトの一部はナーフ・削除されましたが、それについては言及していません。
最も大きな点はルートのドロップです。
この文言はかなり驚きます。「２つ目の理由は、一部のリーグ専用モンスターに適用されていた、IIQ/IIRに対する歴史的な大ボーナスを削除したことです。その代わりに、通常のモンスターよりもライフが多く、マップをドロップしないモンスターがいることを考慮して、アイテムの数量に適度な（2〜3倍）増加を加えました」
元々どれくらいの数値が設定されていたか分かりませんが、傾向としては今までの50~80%程度のドロップです。
エンドゲームに入り始めた新規プレーヤーや、１つのマップに１００カオス以上のコストをかけるベテランMFグループも、そこまでいって初めて何が起きてるか気づきます。正直GGG内で何が起きてるかをもう少し詳しく説明してほしいです。
こういった問題に対する温度差がコミュニティの動揺に繋がっています。
今日当たるパッチやこれから当たるパッチで改善されて行く事を願っています。
ストレスを感じる拡張ですが、こういう時こそ落ち着いてやっていきましょう。
